Introduction
Welcome to the second in ERIDLC's series of Quantitative Methods Courses. The fundamentals of this discipline are covered in course 09: Fundamentals of Compensation Quantitative Methods. This course expands upon the mathematical operations covered in Course 09 to include more complex quantitative methods used specifically in administering salaries.
Course Overview
We will begin with a discussion of how to analyze salary survey data, using averages, medians, modes, and maturity curves. Next we will show you how to set up a salary structure for your company using salary increase matrices, compa-ratios, grades, and ranges. After this, we will discuss how percentages can be used to analyze geographic differentials and salary increases.
