Overview | If your organization has branch offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, or remote employees, you will need to know what salary structure works best for them. In this course, you will learn how to determine whether your organization should apply its headquarters’ structure, adjust the headquarters’ structure, or develop a new structure entirely. Different labor markets and typically the cost of labor affect geographic salary structures and pay practices. You will learn how to use your pay policy to take these variables into account. You will also learn how pay policy impacts pay ranges and how salary grades help to maintain internal pay equity. Then geographic structures for major U.S. cities and suburbs are analyzed. Canadian and international structures are also covered. |
