ERI provides FREE materials and web access services to college instructors who teach compensation administration and the nature of work (occupations).

Compensation Administration Courses

Access to all 36 ERI Distance Learning Center self-study courses is free. This offer does not include the course exams. Students may work through the course content and advance page by page by successfully completing a quiz. At the end of each course, students have the option to email their instructor that they completed the assigned course. These compensation courses may be used as content for an entire online course or as supplemental or extra credit material. The Distance Learning Center's 36 online courses cover an array of topics, including:

  • Job Analysis, Descriptions, and Evaluation Methods
  • Quantitative Methods Used in Salary Administration
  • Salary Structures
  • Market Pricing
  • Salary Increase Planning
  • Pay-for-Performance
  • Executive Compensation

Our Compensation Analyst Credential (CAC) is also available to students for free. This offer does include the exams for the 12 courses that make up the CAC. Upon passing all 12 exams, students will get a certificate. There are various ways to incorporate the CAC into class instruction. Some of the courses may be used as part of the class material with an option for students to complete the credential on their own, or as extra credit, or all 12 courses may be integrated into the class.

Work and Occupations

Those interested in job analysis will receive relevant Position Analysis Questionnaire (PAQ) Forms that can be used in instructional settings. Additionally, an instructor account allows free scoring of job analyses that are related to classroom assignments.

ERI collects modern-day work measure content and, by doing so, allows the comparison of specific occupations one to another (and incumbents who might fill those jobs). Internal equity, disability determination, and employee placement are outcomes. ERI materials are practical. Students can learn from these real-world tools used daily by professionals.

"You have a very complete offering of on-line courses. A colleague introduced me to the website. I have a PHR and am looking for good continuing education courses at a reasonable price. Having also used another HR training website, I found your course more engaging."
