Definition:In terms of statistics, this unit, which is representative of a class drawn from and studied in order to estimate the characteristics of an entire population. A random sample is where each member of the population has the same chance of being chosen. Convenience sample, on the other hand, is when units are selected, not at random but on the basis of what is easily available or accessible
