Definition:A survey of salaries, wages, and benefits produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Includes local, regional, and nationwide data. The NCS is designed to replace the Employment Cost Index (ECI), the Occupational Compensation Survey Program (OCSP), and Employee Benefits Survey (EBS).
