Description: Leads, manages, and directs the operations of a department for the regional branch of medical facilities. Develops, documents, implements, and interprets medical policies that contribute to the enhancement of patient care and experience. Clearly articulates and summarizes policies to care providers, medical staff, and partner organizations to ensure implementation is efficient and streamlined. Maintains relationships with key departments, physician and doctor groups, primary care providers, and insurance companies. Monitors and ensures compliance, accreditation, and proper clearance of policies, practices, and procedures. Manages and advises the professional development of medical teams.
