International Controller Job Description

Description: Supervises multiple accounting teams across various regions. Manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash flow, and revenue recognition in different countries. Develops and enforces policies, procedures, and control processes for financial activities at each of the company's locations based upon local laws and regulations. Works with senior financial managers to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets and form financial strategies. Directs internal and external financial audits of the firm's divisions and confirms the accuracy of account reconciliations. Reviews contracts, tax, and compliance status of the organization's divisions and subsidiaries. Oversees preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyzes the financial performance, risks, and opportunities of each location and recommends profitability and operational improvements. Chooses, implements, and administers accounting systems and trains accounting personnel on the use of accounting systems.
