Description: Advises and aids architects, contractors, and other personnel in interpreting fire codes and standards. Reviews construction and fire protection designs, drawings, calculations, schedules, and documentation to ensure compliance with fire protection codes and standards and communicates necessary changes. Designs and evaluates fire protection appliances, devices, and systems, including fire-detection equipment, alarm systems, and fire extinguishing devices and systems.
