Sample business functions include canned artichokes in olive oil, barbecue sauce, catsup, maraschino cherries, tomato chili sauce, fruit butters, fruit pie mixes, canned fruits, canned hominy, and jams (including imitation).

Establishments primarily engaged in sun drying or artificially dehydrating fruits and vegetables, or in manufacturing packaged soup mixes from dehydrated ingredients. Sample business functions in include dried dates, dehydrated fruits, vegetables, and soups, fruit flour, meal, and powders, sulphured fruits, dried olives, dehydrated potato products (such as potato flakes and granules), dried prunes, raisins, soup mixes, and soup powders.
