  • Drives straight truck with capacity of more than three tons and usually with more than six wheels to transport materials to and from specified destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.
  • Prepares receipts for load picked up.
  • Stops at required weigh and check stations.
  • Ensures accuracy of logs and other required documentation.
  • Receives payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
  • Requires a commercial driver's license.
