Description:
  • Tests emissions from smokestack to determine if electrostatic precipitator and flue recovery systems are operating within prescribed standards: measures force of gas flow by observing manometer attached to pitot tube placed at various points in stack.
  • Obtains solids contained in gas by drawing metered quantity of flue exhaust through filter bag.
  • Computes total amount of gases and solids lost, using specified formula.
