  • Mixes and distributes prescribed medicines and pharmaceutical preparations in absence of or under supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Prepares compounds according to prescriptions issued by medical, dental, or veterinary officers.
  • Pours, weighs, or measures dosages and grinds, heats, filters, or dissolves and mixes liquid or soluble drugs and chemicals.
  • Orders prescription and designated non-prescription pharmacy products.
  • Receives, stores, stocks shelves, issues pharmaceutical materials and supplies, checks prices, and maintains merchandise levels.
