Description:
  • Manages and coordinates radiology services activities, staff, and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Oversees staff in operation of imaging equipment, such, as x-ray machines, fluoroscopes, computer-assisted tomography (CT) scanners, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.
  • Contributes to department strategic goals, plans, and reviews; implements policies and procedures; and initiates performance improvement.
  • Monitors productivity, quality, and patient-service standards.
