Description: Manages the dispatch staff and coordinates activities to ensure smooth operation of the dispatch process and the efficient and effective movement of products. Supervises and sets the schedules for the dispatch team and professional drivers; communicates customer needs to employees, observes progress, and coordinates responses. Handles complaints, confers with others about challenges, evaluates service levels, and provides recommendations to and works with management to develop action plans to improve performance, profitability, and customer service.
