Food Process Engineer Job Description

Description: Designs and optimizes food production processes, from concept through certification, to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. Administers research trials and technical evaluations to validate process improvements, new equipment, and feasibility. Analyzes production and experimental data using statistical methods to identify trends, determine root causes of non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions. Assures compliance with food safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards in all aspects of process design and implementation. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, operations, and marketing, to support new product development and process integration.
