Job Summary

Description:
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets geographic information provided by geodetic surveys, aerial photographs, and satellite data to aid in the production, measurement, and creation of maps, mapping coordinates, software, databases, and other materials related to mapmaking.
  • Researches, studies, and prepares paper and web-delivered electronic maps of geographical areas to show natural and constructed features, political boundaries, and other features, using desktop publishing, computer graphics, and multimedia software, for legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes.
