Job Summary

  • Interfaces between and establishes a good relationship between an apparel manufacturer or exporter and the garment buyer.
  • Coordinates and oversees order analysis, sample making, buying the needed raw materials to complete the garment, making the garment, finishing the garment, documentation, and shipping.
  • Interfaces with the customer and all departments in the apparel industry.
  • Communicates regularly with buyer; plans with buyer for new sample and production orders; and collects and sends buyer samples, accessories, trimmings, and various types of required swatches.
