Job Summary

Description:
  • Provides for the health care needs of patients, under indirect supervision of a Physician, through advanced assessment and identification of health states including abnormal conditions, diagnosing, treatment, and evaluation.
  • Utilizes evidence-based clinical practice standards under the supervision of the supervising Physician to provides direct clinical services for patients according to established protocols.
  • Acts independently to perform individual assessments, diagnostic functions, specialized risk assessments, and make critical decisions regarding a wide variety of health situations, including high risk and crisis situations.
  • Acquires patient health histories and evaluates patient, performing physical examinations.
  • Orders, performs, and interprets lab and diagnostic imaging studies.
  • Diagnoses and treats acute health problems such as infections and injuries.
  • Requires RN license and Nurse Practitioner and specialty certification.
