Overview | For employees and their families, life and disability insurance can provide an important safety net. Many organizations include such insurance in their benefit plans. An additional safety net is Social Security. This course will look at the different kinds of life insurance policies that are available and examine how disability insurance works. It also explores how Social Security may replace some of the earnings of a deceased family member and what provisions there are for compensating an employee who becomes disabled. |
