  • Manages and plans inventory and orders supplies including seafood and department equipment.
  • Understands how to weigh, descale, cut, clean, and cook seafood.
  • Trains employees in customer service, food processing, and safety procedures and schedules retail associates for work shifts.
  • May set pricing for products in the seafood department.
  • A food handling license may be required in some states.
