  • Erects canvas covers to protect camera from rain on location.
  • Cuts gelatin and fiberglass light diffusers to fit metal frame of camera and inserts diffusers into frame.
  • Rigs and dismantles frames, scaffolding, backdrops, prefabricated dressing rooms, camera platforms, and tents for set in studio or on location, using carpenter's handtools.
  • May be designated according to department assigned as construction grip; production grip; sewing room grip.
