  • Manages and coordinates activities required to ensure an accurate accounts payable and receivable system.
  • Plans, schedules, and directs the work of the Accounts Payable and Receivable Departments of an organization.
  • Develops and recommends policies and procedures to govern the payment of company bills to the advantage of the organization in terms of cash flow and discounts.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable activities involving tracing sources of error, correcting billing records, processing final billings, reconciling errors, accuracy of charges on customer's bills, investigating, granting, and controlling credit, and in collecting accounts due, maintenance of accounts receivable ledger, and adjustment of customer claims.
  • Monitors accounts receivable records, including claims and overdue invoices.
