  • Directs, and oversees, in conjunction with the Medical Director, patient care at a medical establishment, including: hospitals, clinics, emergency centers, and laboratories.
  • Ensures high quality and timely patient care, as defined in organizations clinical practice and policy.
  • Presides over the development of new organizational policy, protocols, strategies, and models.
  • Updates and improves existing organizational policies, develops programs that evaluate current procedures to determine effectiveness.
  • Investigates and studies incidents of medical non-compliance and escalates complex cases to Medical Director.
  • Appoints, supervises and trains medical staff, practitioners, physicians and specialists in organization policies, procedures, best practices and safety standards.
  • Mentors and guides team to promote increased quality of patient care programs.
