Description: Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems of a level less than Precision Assemblers Electronic. Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. The distinction between the two positions is as follows: (1) Precision Assemblers Electronic require a high degree of precision, ability to interpret detailed specifications and instructions, and use of independent judgment and knowledge gained by up to several years of training and experience; and (2) Electronic Assemblers (General) require less training, knowledge, and judgment to perform the duties.
