  • Protects the lives, properties, and the community from fire and other emergencies.
  • Responds to emergency calls, both during regular shifts and on-call rotations, and provides assistance during fires, accidents, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies.
  • Operates firefighting equipment, including hoses, nozzles, axes, and ladders, to combat fires and conduct search and rescue operations.
  • Assists in evacuating occupants and providing medical aid to victims during emergencies.
  • Uses and maintains firefighting vehicles and equipment to ensure readiness and proper functioning for emergency responses.
  • Inspects and performs minor repairs on fire equipment and apparatus.
  • Educates the public about fire safety and prevention measures through presentations, demonstrations, and community outreach programs.
  • Identifies potential fire hazards in buildings and properties, providing recommendations for improvement.
