- Formulates and tests forms, assessments, and reports during the implementation period.
- Oversees data entry policies and business rules for the electronic health records (EHR) system and performs maintenance and data cleanup protocols.
- Collects information about births, deaths, and other statistics for federal and state agencies.
- Supervises medical coders, technicians, assistants, medical secretaries, and other medical record staff and ensures that training for all health information personnel is updated.
- Plans budgets, orders office equipment, designs forms, and attends to other administrative details.
