Description:
  • Measures slide fastener chains and cuts excess scoops (links) from chains to shorten chains to specified length: measures chain against bench mounted ruler to determine number of scoops to remove.
  • Cuts each scoop from tape, using pincers.
  • Rubs scoops against edge of bench to remove them from tape.
  • Cuts tape between chains to form individual zipper, using scissors.
  • Examines zippers for broken or missing scoops and discards defective zippers.
  • May count and record number of zippers produced.
