Job Summary

Description:
  • Diagnoses and treats patients with reconstructive and restorative surgery on arteries and veins for various blood vessel-related diseases or conditions, such as peripheral artery disease, abnormal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, venous disease or varicose veins; surgeries include angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and artery plaque removal, repair, or bypass.
  • Evaluates symptoms, upon examination of patient, to verify necessity of operation, estimates possible risk to patient, and determines best operational procedure to achieve desired outcome.
  • Identifies the need for further tests and/or follow-up visits.
