Description:
  • Assists food and feed producers in making better decisions leading to improved business management, lower production costs, higher levels of productivity, and higher yield, while minimizing environmental impact, through the application of geospatial and precision agriculture technologies, including global positioning systems (GPS) and geographic information systems (GIS).
  • Applies technologies to agricultural activities, such as pest scouting, pesticide application, custom application, yield mapping, and variable rate irrigation, dealing with the production operations of a farm, from the manufacturing of equipment to the distribution of crops.
