Job Summary

Description:
  • Evaluates needs and provides patient care for injured or ill air transport patients from an accident scene and during the flight to the hospital.
  • Supervises paramedics in the air transport care of critically ill or wounded patients.
  • Adjusts nursing care for individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Requires RN license.
