  • Reports to and provides assessments of activities to officials.
  • Conducts audits and inspections of processes, programs, and operations such as personnel, contracts, and budgets.
  • Investigates allegations of fraud, misconduct, and violations of laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborates with audit firms, regulatory bodies, and other government agencies to conduct investigations and address findings.
  • Reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance structures.
  • Proposes and implements corrective actions and recommendations to address identified issues and improve processes.
  • Monitors the progress of corrective actions to ensure compliance with recommendations.
  • Maintains records of investigations, audits, and oversight activities.
  • Acts as point of contact for reports of concerns or guidance on ethical and compliance matters.
