Description:
  • Tends press that automatically punches out blocks of floor tile from sheets of vinyl and asphalt or asbestos material: starts machine and observes sheet for uniformity of color pattern.
  • Pushes button to release punching ram, allowing defective sections of sheet to pass through and onto scrap conveyor.
  • Feels material to determine its flexibility as it enters machine and notifies calender operator to adjust temperature of rolls.
  • Stops machine when jams occur and removes damaged floor tile to clear punch press.
