  • Obtains educational materials for use in teaching and demonstrating nursing and other health related activities.
  • Confers with administrative personnel to determine procedures and techniques for patient care and to implement new programs.
  • Assists in selecting nursing candidates and in orienting new employees.
  • Cooperates with nursing schools and colleges in providing supervised field instruction for students to gain work experience and observe nursing techniques.
  • Conducts surveys and analyses to determine adequacy of educational materials and effectiveness of program.
