Job Description:
Directs outpatient clinic activities and coordinates activities of clinic with those of other hospital departments. Oversees operation of clinic and recommends procedures, treatments, or other course of action to assist medical staff. Establishes and administers clinic policies and procedures in cooperation with other hospital officials and administrative personnel. A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: Interprets and administers personnel policies and provides for training program. Reviews clinic activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of resident professional staff members. Authorizes purchase of supplies and equipment. Prepares and submits budget, records, reports, and statistical data to administrator of health care facility. Works with accounts department, exchanging information needed to process records.
