Job Description:
Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition hotel, office building, apartment house, or similar building. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space. Empties trash and garbage containers. Notifies supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. A combination of one to three months of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: May perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. May replace air-conditioner filters. May clean snow and debris from sidewalk and mow lawn, trim shrubbery, and cultivate flowers, using hand tools and power tools.
