Job Description: Manages writing or preparation of orders, pricing orders and furnishing price quotations to customers, obtaining credit approvals, maintaining records and files of orders received and filled, and receipt of orders for material, merchandise, and/or services. Manages the preparation of customer statements, bills and invoices, obtaining information from purchase orders, sales, and charge slips. A combination of over two years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job. Typically reports to a director and may have sales order supervisors reporting to this position.: Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Manages planning of departmental operations, developing methods, authorizing overtime and controlling costs. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures and progress reports, in order to inform management of current status or work activities. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
