Job Description: Manages and coordinates outpatient clinic operations, and coordinates activities of clinic with those of other hospital departments. Provides input in developing, evaluating, and implementing clinic policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policies and objectives to staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of resident professional staff members. A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: Organizes resources to ensure efficiency of services. Interprets and administers personnel policies and ensures employee compliance to organization's policies and programs. Ensures adequate training of staff. Reviews clinic activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff. Assists in preparation of clinic budget.
