Job Description:
Supervises employees engaged in promoting and selling the organization's products or services. Assigns sales territories to sales personnel. Provides administrative support for and assists in the direction and coordination of sales representatives. Serves as liaison between sales representatives and their customers to ensure superior customer service. Typically requires a four-year college degree in a related field; however, some companies may accept equivalent related education and experience combined.: Completes forms and processes orders as necessary. Trains new sales representatives in established policies, practices, products, and services. Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales. Negotiates within defined limits. May assist with the special handling of key or major accounts. May assist with the preparation of manuals and technical publications. May represent company at industry association meetings and trade shows to promote organization. May assist in budgetary process.
