Job Description:
Manages and directs the daily operations of the e-commerce sales department of an organization. Oversees activities of e-commerce sales associates. Develops strategies to boost sales and increase website traffic. Supports sales by developing programs to attract new accounts and retain existing account base. A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job. Typically reports to Top e-Commerce Executive.: Prepares budget and revenue forecasts and ensures that projections are realized. Tracks emerging technologies to improve design and functionality of website. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.
