Job Description:
Sells and promotes products, systems, and services requiring technical knowledge of engineering and/or science and cost effectiveness. Typically requires a four-year college degree in engineering; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Calls on management representatives to convince them of the desirability and practicability of products and services offered. Works with customers and production engineering to determine how products or services could be designed or modified to best suit customers' needs. Demonstrates to potential customers how and why products and services would suit customer needs better than competitors products. Develops and prepares financial and operational estimates. Proposes changes in equipment or use of materials resulting in cost reduction or operational improvement. Reports on market changes affecting company products and services.
