Job Description:
Manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in administrative services such as purchasing, security, maintenance, mail and messenger services, office clerical and support services, printing, telecommunications, and cafeteria services. Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or completion of job assignments. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status of work activities. A bachelor's degree is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: Analyzes department budget to identify budget needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budget funds. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet department deadlines. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
