Job Description:
Plans and performs analysis of e-commerce activities and/or functions and guides the subsequent design and implementation or improvement of existing e-commerce applications. Utilizes available personnel and computer system resources to analyze, design, and modify information, applications, methods, systems, and procedures related to e-commerce to determine the most useful solutions for the company. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science, in addition to some practical experience.: Determines the most effective ways in which information should be collected and processed. Tests, debugs, investigates, and corrects program-related problems, and creates and provides effective and reliable documentation. Analyzes, interprets, and makes recommendations based on gathered data, in the form of formal proposals and/or presentations to upper management. Depending on experience, may lead, train, and guide the work of less senior analysts.
