Job Summary

Description:
  • Assembles hard rubber tires and wheel rims for articles, such as lawn mowers and baby carriages: places rubber tire into jaws of spreading device and depresses pedal to close jaws and stretch tire.
  • Positions wheel rim on spindle mandrel at center of tire.
  • Pushes button to open jaws that release tire onto rim and removes wheel from spreading device.
