Job Summary

Description:
  • Checks and examines law sources and documents pertaining to many areas of real estate, such as title searches, title commitments and surveys, zoning, leases, acquisitions, sales, development, construction, building ordinances and subdivision ordinances, statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes, regulations, and/or procedures.
  • Assesses environmental and land use issues and landlord, tenant, and property owner disputes.
  • Prepares legal documents, such as legal descriptions and plotting of existing descriptions, briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, buy-sell agreements, and closing papers for review, approval, and use by Attorney.
  • Drafts letters, objections, responses, governance documents, resolutions, and deeds.
  • Prepares closing binders and attends closing.
