Description:
  • Directs and oversees activities in a kidney dialysis unit.
  • Assigns duties to dialysis technicians, and coordinates outpatient and inpatient treatment involving setting up and operating equipment to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure.
  • Evaluates activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service.
  • Observes treatment to ensure that treatment is carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance with physician's instructions.
