Description:
  • Manages and oversees packaging activities of department engaged in meeting specific marketing, production, shipping, and cost requirements.
  • Reviews production orders to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
  • Determines appropriate materials and containers to be used for packaging.
  • Decides specific equipment or machinery to use for operation of specific packaging.
  • Oversees inspection of products prior to packaging and return of rejected products to production departments.
  • Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications
