Job Summary

Description:
  • Prepares reinsurance applications and contracts and ascertains reinsurance liability, working for either prime insurer or reinsurer, and performs other complex clerical and administrative support activities involving insurance and reinsurance contracts.
  • Ascertains the amount of risk on each item that needs to be reinsured by other insurers or ascertains the amount of risk on each item the company is willing to reinsure from prime insurer.
  • Picks reinsurers who may accept part of ceded liability.
  • Accepts reinsurers and their liability for cash values and dividends.
