Job Summary

  • Designs test equipment in the R&D lab, as part of the Hardware Testing Engineering team, for prototypes of machinery; develops the protocols used to scale these tests for the entire global team; and assures the equipment is cutting-edge and reliable.
  • Provides input on designs to improve hardware until it meets company standards of quality and reliability, working closely with Design Engineers.
  • Develops test plans for highly complex platforms, such as validating the interaction of multiple pieces of equipment at the networking and subsystem levels, and diagnoses highly complex hardware or software issues.
  • Oversees overall system validation of consumer hardware.
