  • Designs and runs tests on the guidance, navigation, and control systems of aircraft and other flying objects, ranging from missiles and space shuttles to passenger jets and airplanes.
  • Designs, develops, writes codes, and analyzes guidance, navigation, and control algorithms, utilizing experience and skills in the field of flexible body control, filtering, trajectory optimization, aerodynamics, rendezvous and proximity operations, atmospheric entry, propulsive landing, fault management, software development, inertial, optical, ranging, and GPS sensor systems.
  • Develops launch vehicle and spacecraft dynamics simulators, runs computer simulations to determine how control and flight systems would perform under certain conditions, analyzes and optimizes spacecraft performance both in simulation and flight test, and models these simulations for other members of the development team.
