Job Summary

Description:
  • Analyzes engineering design impacts and concepts of products, platforms, and programs, and recommends quality and test methods for attaining customer-specified and system-level operational requirements, using knowledge of component construction, manufacturing, and test processes.
  • Provides support with component and supplier selection, analysis, and documentation to meet technical requirements posed by design teams during concept and development for electrical and mechanical components.
  • Reviews documentation and provides recommendations to programs; and advises and confers with engineers in design review meetings to give part selection, analysis, and test recommendations.
  • Reviews new part requests, and creates or validates part information.
